About me.
Hi,
My name is Nikki van Engelen and I'm 16 years old. I follow the study "media manager" at Nova College in Haarlem, the Netherlands. My hobby is to make pictures. I do this for about 3 years now. I shoot a lot pictures of my friends, but at family events, I am always asked to shoot some pictures.
When I'm off I also like to surf.

Why did you choose to study for media manager?
This study teaches us the variety about the world called media, which I think is very interesting.
Why do you want to work in the media?
I like to do creative things and wanted to learn more about graphic design. I chose the manager side of the study because you learn to work organized and learn how to manage projects. As a manager you need to know what a designer does, so you can better understand how much work it is.
Where do you see yourself in 5 years?
About 5 years from now I will be 21 and I think I will be busy with my next study. I am not sure what study it will be, but for now I think something with photography or journalism. After that study I would like to travel. When I'm done traveling, I will search for a job in media.
What do you offer the media world?
I am still a student and don’t know yet what media has to offer me. So, I'm still searching for knowledge that will help me grow as a person.
